PLC-F Agenda: May 3, 2012

PLC facilitators will take the 2011-12 Westminster PLC Assessment as members of the PLC-F team (this is the iteration in which we think of our “students” as the adult learners in our various PLCs, and in which we think of the PLC-F team as our “instructional team of teachers.”)

If PLC-F members want to take the assessment before Thursday morning, they may do so and “sleep in” on Thursday. However, we have recognized value in previous years for taking the assessment in common space so that we can ask clarifying questions of each other and spur some additional thinking at times.

NOTE: PLC facilitators will need to take the assessment a second time as a member of the PLC for which they facilitate – the departmentalized PLC that they lead. Most likely, this assessment will take place with your PLC when they take the assessment.

PLC-F Agenda: April 26, 2012

How will we utilize the PLC feedback survey for collecting data in 2011-12?  Continue to design and development the 2011-12 PLC survey.

  1. Passion & Persistence
  2. BETA TEST: Taking the 2011-12 PLC Assessment DRAFT in order to experience and fine tune the prompts.
    1. Don’t write your complete narrative responses just yet…this is only a beta test.
    2. Do take notes as you beta test the assessment.
  3. Discussing and refining the 2011-12 PLC Assessment.
  4. Deciding on and coordinating our assessment schedule.
