Our PLC-F (Professional Learning Community for PLC Facilitators) blog shares the work and learning of The Westminster Junior High PLC facilitators.  Our team of 11 PLC-F faculty members commit to meeting at 7:00 a.m. once a week as a PLC dedicated to the growth and learning of the 42 faculty members in the 5 formal discipline-specific PLCs currently running in the Junior High. (One member of our team serves as a PLC facilitator for the High School Math PLC and helps facilitate vertical planning and alignment between our divisions.)

The infographic below shows our growth from 1 interdisciplinary PLC with 5 members in 2007 to 5 PLCs (+ PLC-F) in 2012.  The numbers in brackets indicate the number of faculty in formal PLCs in the other two divisions of our school.

For additional information about our PLC, please feel free to contact co-directors Bo Adams (boadams@westminster.net) and Jill Gough (jillgough@westminster.net), or ask questions in the comment section below.
